Fancy having a go at making one of our giant paper flowers yourself?
 
Our DIY Kit contains everything you need to create your own oversized crepe paper flower, with pre-cut materials, templates and step-by-step instructions to guide you through the process.
 
You can follow the templates to recreate the flower, or experiment with your own petal shapes to make something completely your own.

Each kit is made to order, so you can choose the colour you'd like when placing your order.

Each kit contains:
  • Pre-cut crepe paper for your petals
  • Yellow crepe paper for the flower centre
  • Petal templates
  • Cardboard backing circle
  • Hanging hook
  • Step-by-step instruction booklet
  • Access to our step-by-step video tutorial
 
You'll also receive 4 spare pieces of crepe paper to practise with before you start on your actual petals, 2 for practising cutting your own petal shapes and 2 for practising stretching and shaping.

  • Scissors
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • Stapler and staples
  • Plain paper if you'd like to practise cutting your own petal shapes
 
A little creative freedom
The templates are there to make things easier, but you don't have to stick to them.
Once you've got the hang of the technique, you can experiment with the shape, size and curves of your petals to create a flower that's completely your own.
 
The kit includes practice pieces so you can have a play before cutting your actual petals.
 
How it works
Our DIY kits are released in small batches.
 
Each batch has a set number of kits available and a specific order window. Once the order window closes, we'll make and prepare the kits before dispatching them together.
 
Please check the dispatch date shown above before ordering, as your kit will be made especially for you.
 
A few things to know
 
Crepe paper is delicate, so your finished flower will need a little care. Keep it dry, away from prolonged direct sunlight and handle the petals gently.
 
Your finished flower is intended for indoor decorative use.
 
Recommended for ages 14+. Adult supervision recommended when using hot glue.

Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen and lighting.
The templates and instructions included in this kit have been created exclusively for The Petal Edit DIY Kits. They are for your personal use and enjoyment and must not be reproduced, resold or commercially distributed.
 
You're very welcome to make your flower, gift it to someone or use it to decorate your own space, just please don't use the kit or its contents to create products for sale.
